Great honor for Henri Möhring: The young racing driver from Schöneck has been accepted into Motorsport Team Germany and will thus be part of the exclusive German motorsport development squad in 2026. The official presentation of the new squad took place at Motorworld Munich as part of an event organized by the ADAC Sports Foundation and the DMSB.

Motorsport Team Germany comprises a total of 26 young talents from nine disciplines of two- and four-wheel motorsport for the 2026 season. Fourteen athletes have been newly accepted into the high-performance junior program, including Henri Möhring, who has attracted attention in karting in recent years with consistently strong performances.

With his appointment to Motorsport Team Germany, the ADAC Sports Foundation and DMSB are recognizing Henri’s sporting development and achievements. Most recently, the 11-year-old secured the runner-up spot in the German Mini Kart Championship and is set to take the next step in his career in 2026 with his promotion to the OK-N Junior class.

“Being accepted into Motorsport Team Germany means a lot to me. It is a great honor to be part of this support program. I would like to thank everyone involved for their trust and support. It motivates me enormously to continue working hard and take the next step in my development,” says Henri, delighted with the nomination.

Motorsport Team Germany is considered one of the most prestigious junior programs in international motorsport. In addition to financial support, the squad athletes receive comprehensive training in areas such as fitness, mental training, media relations, sponsorship, and vehicle technology. The program is supplemented by training drives and coaching sessions with experienced experts. In addition, the “Mentoring Circle” program opens up opportunities with renowned automobile manufacturers.

In just a few days, Henri Möhring will begin the new season on the international stage. The young driver will start the 2026 racing year with the WSK Euro Series in Viterbo, Italy. There he will face a field of top-class competitors and hopes to convert the many test kilometers of the past few weeks into success. His appointment to Motorsport Team Germany gives him additional momentum.
