DMKM Vice Champion 2025
After his success at the SAKC finale, Henri Möhring traveled to Prokart Raceland Wackersdorf for the season finale of the German Mini Kart Championship with a lot of confidence. There, a strong international field of 33 drivers awaited him, and the 11-year-old from Schöneck was aiming for the runner-up spot. With a strong performance, Henri achieved a perfect finish: third place in the final and thus the well-deserved runner-up title in Germany’s highest mini category.
The start of the weekend was still a bit bumpy. In qualifying, a poor position and the lack of slipstream advantage meant he only managed twelfth place. But in Saturday’s heats, the ADAC Hessen-Thüringen sponsored driver proved his fighting qualities and worked his way up to fifth place. “That was important in order to have the right starting position for Sunday,” Henri recalled.
He once again put in a strong performance in Sunday morning’s Super Heat, at one point mixing it up among the top three. He ultimately crossed the finish line in fifth place, securing fourth place on the grid for the grand final. Henri got off to a dream start there, immediately joining the leading group and pulling away from the rest of the field alongside the two leaders. At one point, he was even in second place before finishing third after some thrilling duels. This meant he could celebrate not only a podium finish in the final race, but also second place in the overall standings.
“I am extremely pleased with this weekend. The season was not always easy, especially at the beginning, but we never gave up and were rewarded with the runner-up title in the end. This is a great result for me, my team 7L-Performance, and of course for my partners ready4energy, the PHM Academy, and ADAC Hessen-Thüringen, without whom none of this would have been possible,” Henri summarized. Winning the runner-up title marks the end of an intense DMKM season for Henri Möhring. Now he is looking ahead to the 2026 season, in which he wants to prove himself once again on the national and international stage.
