Henri Möhring made an impressive debut in the OK-N Junior class in the WSK Euro Series. At the Leopard Circuit in Viterbo, the young driver faced a high-caliber field of over 250 drivers from 52 nations and immediately showed that he is a force to be reckoned with in changeable conditions. For the ADAC Hessen-Thüringen e.V. sponsored driver and Motorsport Team Germany squad driver, it was his first international race in the new category. The preparations had not gone entirely smoothly: there had been only a few days of testing available, and technical problems had prevented him from clocking up additional training miles. This made his debut all the more impressive.

Henri made a big impression right from the first practice session. “I spent the whole time beforehand wondering where we would be. And when I looked at the times and saw that I was in the top five, I knew: this feels really good,” reports the 11-year-old.

Qualifying took place in difficult rainy conditions – despite traffic on the track, Henri finished fourth in his group and seventh overall. He impressively confirmed his pace in the subsequent heats. In the first race, he was the fastest driver on the track and finished second.

Even on a dry track, he consistently mixed it up with the leading group and finished the second heat in third place. Only in the last heat did he struggle with engine problems and, lying in second place, he dropped back to ninth. These results meant he was seventh in the interim standings.

On the final day, the weekend once again turned into a lottery: changing conditions, drying asphalt, and strategic decisions regarding air pressure made the setup a challenge. In the pre-final, Henri fought his way up to fourth place despite difficult tuning. The Dörr Motorsport youngster showed his presence in the new class in the grand final. Starting from fourth on the grid, he got off to a strong start and immediately established himself in the leading group. When the checkered flag fell, he finished fifth, but lost two positions at the end due to a spoiler penalty.

In just a few days, Henri Möhring will begin the new season on the international stage. The young driver will start the 2026 racing year with the WSK Euro Series in Viterbo, Italy. There he will face a field of top-class competitors and hopes to convert the many test kilometers of the past few weeks into success. His appointment to Motorsport Team Germany gives him additional momentum.
