Scary moment for Henri Möhring at the start of the WSK Final Cup in Lonato. After a difficult qualifying session, he made a great comeback in the heats. However, an accident in the third heat brought his weekend to a premature end. After a recovery phase, however, he is already looking forward to the next race.

Henri Möhring traveled to the first race of the WSK Final Cup in high spirits. After recent strong results on the 1,200 meter long South Garda Circuit, the Hessian wanted to impress again this time. However, as 39th after qualifying, a tough task awaited Henri.

However, he showed his ambitions in the first qualifying run and improved by ten places. He followed this up in the second heat. Again, the driver from the Tony Kart Racing Team made up many positions and crossed the finish line in 13th place.

In the third heat, there was a severe setback. After moving up to 13th place again, there was a collision. Henri then had to end the weekend prematurely. “That was the worst accident I’ve ever had in a kart. After the first medical examination on site, it wasn’t clear whether anything was broken. Back in Germany, we had everything checked on Sunday. Apart from a big scare and a few bruises, everything is ok. A big thank you to my team, who took great care of me on site,” said Henri, explaining the events.

The ADAC Hessen-Thüringen e.V. protégé is already looking ahead in a good mood and is planning his next start at the conclusion of the WSK Final Cup. The event will take place from November 20-24 in Cremona, Italy.
