HHenri Möhring made a strong impression once again in the fourth round of the German Mini Kart Championship in Kerpen. After his second place in the WAKC a week earlier, the Schöneck native traveled to the traditional Erftlandring highly motivated and once again delivered a top performance. With consistently strong performances throughout the weekend, the youngster from Team 7L-Performance secured fourth place in the final, consolidating his second place in the overall standings.

Henri already showed his ambitions in qualifying: on a dry track, he drove to third place, laying a promising foundation. In both heats, he held his own in the leading group and finished second in each, a strong result that put him in third place overall after Saturday.

, the Super Heat followed, in which Henri once again shone. He underlined his pace with the fastest lap of the race, led the race at times, and finally crossed the finish line in second place behind the winner. Unfortunately, he had to contend with engine problems that became apparent from the penultimate lap onwards. A victory was therefore out of reach. Nevertheless, the Tony Kart driver secured the front row of the grid for the grand final.

The start on the poorer outside lane did not go entirely according to plan: the 11-year-old lost ground slightly in the early stages and then got stuck behind a tightly bunched leading trio. Unfortunately, he was once again hampered by engine problems, which this time became apparent in the last five laps. In the end, he found no way past and crossed the finish line in fourth place. “Of course, I was disappointed at first because I knew that more was possible today – my goal was to win. But we showed once again that we are among the absolute best. Now we need to make the most of the final in Wackersdorf and secure the runner-up spot in the championship,” said Henri after the race. The grand finale in Wackersdorf in mid-September (19-21 February), the ADAC Hessen-Thüringen sponsored driver wants to confirm his strong form and crown his successful season. He will be supported by his team 7L-Performance and his partners ready4energy and the PHM Academy.
