At the weekend, Henri Möhring traveled to Mülsen for the third round of the ADAC Kart Masters – in the Arena E, it was all about the half-time championship. In the Mini, the Hessian mixed in the front field and continued his strong development. He receives support as part of his new team TB Racing by a familiar face from karting.

“I’m looking forward to Mülsen. I know the track very well and already had some successes here last year. Of course, I want to build on that,” says the nine-year-old racer before the start. In addition to the challenge on the track, the weather was also a challenge for the young drivers. Midsummer temperatures of almost 40 degrees made everyone sweat on Saturday.

Henri quickly found his rhythm on the 1,315-meter track and, in seventh place after qualifying, had a super starting base. “That was a good start, but there was a bit more in it for us. From this weekend I will be coached by Hannes Janker, he was German, European and even vice world champion. It was our first race weekend together and it’s fun to learn from him,” Henri reveals.

The heats were turbulent as usual. Numerous slipstream duels shook up the field of young drivers. Henri was ninth on Saturday evening and thus still in the top ten. The number nine also characterized his Sunday – he finished both finals on it. The races were characterized by numerous duels – the youngsters changed positions every lap. Henri showed fighting spirit and established himself against his predominantly older opponents.

“I still have to be a bit more consistent, but we are on the way forward. Especially in Mülsen, you lose a lot of positions due to small driving mistakes and lack of momentum. Over the course of the three days of racing, I learned a lot again and thank my parents, Hannes and the TB Racing Team for the support,” concluded the ADAC Hessen-Thüringen e.V. promotional driver.

Already next weekend Henri rolls again in Mülsen at the start, then at the Rotax Max Challenge Germany.
